The tragedy of sandals
This will not stop me from looking stooooopid and wearing sandals, with socks. Ever. This is nowhere near as ugly, inconvenient, or utterly gross as the nose monkeys. Trust me. The solution was a very dull pair of clippers ($0.75 at the dollar store here!) and a nail file I happened to pack on impulse. Next time my very very good Japanese clippers come along for the trip.
