Inflection Point?

 I slept well last night.

Again, awake far earlier than in the States.  The angle of the sub here is very different.  It's 30 degrees of arc different latitudinally.  And, believe it or not, your body depends on a certain 'steadiness' of the suns' placement.  It is the longitudinal version we hate the most - jet lag and Daylight Saving Time.  But the latitude can be offsetting too.

This is natural to all animals: crepuscular, nocturnal, diurnal, or whatever other patterns.  For me, I have lost the ability to reasonably guess the hour.  I was up at 0700.  Had breakfast and read the paper.  So-so kolo Mee.  Frankly a blah teh.  Won't go back.  No biggie.

Look, not all of us look at boobs first.  Well, not all of the time.
(TJK, kind of reminds me of Qantas and our arrival in SYD!)

Hilarious headline uespecially when you realize the company name is "Dutch Lady Milk Enterprises."
Oh, shit, even that is a doozey.

Save The Ocho!
Ben Stiller, a lonely nation turns its eyes to you!

While walking around after that, without a watch, I said Good Afternoon a few times.  Only to learn it was only 0930 or so!  The placement of the sun is literally our clock.  When you lose your baseline, it feels really funny.

I sat on a bench near the seahorse and read.  Sun burning my neck a bit; sipping tea; being happy.  Damn, I could do this regularly!  Especially if I had my own breezy balcony.

This high art series is, of course, to be named "Tempus Est Aestus, The Deities of M. Gadot";   The silly titles clearly make this incredible art!  Silliness aside, I am fascinated by this series.  It is a simple clock for my day.  I have never been artistic (always autistic!) but a desire to capture change, time, and flow.  Is filling my head with artsy ideas.  You've been warned - it's gonna get stupid.  If we're lucky it will advance to strange.

I did laundry.  I bought time in 28KG machine for my 8KG of laundry - more water and air means cleaner and dryer.  An easy hours.

Back to the first place I had Kolo Mee, it was noon.  Auntie was sold out of kolo mee.  I hit her with an "Omakase" of "I trust you Auntie, you tell me.  Kway Teow it was.  She knows I like spicy and black vinegar and made a show of being proactive.  I've been there twice.  Tell me why I'm supposed to be worried about eating in a place without 4 walls again..

As slippery as damn eels.
But tasty pork!

Other images from the morning;

Idyllic and not particularly photogenic.  But very symbolic of Miri for me.
A working river meets a working sea - heartbeats.
Thanks for the insight Mom.

On top of a storage cabinet.
"Because it can."

I made a clucking noise to get it to turn towards me.
I walked away very quickly.
Zoom is safety when it comes to wildlife photography.
And more important than composition in this case.
